Love at first sight

I came across an article in the newspaper a few days back.. something about love at first sight. Does it really exist?

Personally, I’ve never experienced it myself. Im not sure if it does or does not exist or it might be just a mere “lust” at first sight. Im sure it has happened to a lot of people but there are others who still believe its just some sort of attraction for one another. It can be from how they look, how they smell, to the way they speak.. etc.

For me & bux? well its definitely NOT love at first sight. I can assure you on that.

It all started when he first came into hartamas in 2004.. We were about 16 at the time. I saw him walked in my class, and introduced himself to everyone. He sat down a few tables away from mine. I took a glance at him & the initial thought that came through my mind was “ohh this is the infamous sheikh asyraf bux that people have been talking about..’. As he walked pass me, I turned around, saw his pants and said to myself “OMG how tight is his pants??! What is he thinking?!”

and the rest is history … but look at where we are now (now he’s a handsome boy with baggy pants! yeah!)

Anyway, back to the article about love at first sight.. do you think it exists?

1. According to a research done in Netherlands, those who experienced love at first sight becomes romantically involved faster than those who had not (Personally, I dont think it works that way. It really depends on how much chemistry you have with one another, or how much involve you are with them)

2. Some say that love at first sight has little to do with romance. Instead, its all about ego. (hahah hmmm im not too sure about this. I really cant say because I’ve never experienced it or know anyone who has experienced it before)

3. ”We fall in love not from the first sight but the first smell” . Apparently, on a subconscious level, the way the person smells plays a very big part. (To a certain extent, I have to agree on this, it does play a part )

All in all, I think love works in mysterious ways. Whether you fall in love with that person at the first sight, or you gradually fall in love with them after you meet them.. Its really all up to you.

For me, I’d have to know the person first or at least be friends with them before I get into anything else. Its just better like that. Thats how bux & I started off and I guess it makes us closer that way.
